This issue happened previously in July of 2012 during the Olympics due to a server issue. The social network was back online by the next day, so don’t sweat it too much. Now, when you tap on a topic in Trending, you’ll see conversations organized in up to five different sections: The feed below the new sections will continue to display relevant posts ranked by engagement, timeliness and other factors. The way that your Trending topics are determined hasn’t changed, and as always, only public posts and posts that you are in the audience for (like updates from friends or groups that you belong to) will be shown in Trending.
I've already lost my main account due to reacting to trolls, and they will always ignore or take the side of a leftist if you're ever dog piled or harassed. It use to be when you tap on a video you can scroll down to find more videos and now that is completely gone?!?
When I tap on a video it just shows that video and none below it. I don’t know if I’m the only one experiencing this but I want it back.
Also the video often loses audio if I replay it or even while I’m watching it. Expanding to 280 characters is the worst thing that twitter has ever done.
The description of the update says that it will bring “minor improvements” to the app.
It doesn’t seem that either of these updates have anything to do with today’s issues, so bear with the mobile app for now.https://twitter.com/mckinlay_scott/status/507587606817685505Some users who really wanted to get their Twitter fix have resorted to using the mobile web app on their smartphones, which is always an option if you are having this issue currently.
