The Hogsback region in Spring – Johannesburg to Port Elizabeth Day 1: Distance for day: 580 km Today we follow the main N1 route, travelling through the Free State, with stops on route made at Kroonstad and Bloemfontein to view the sights of these historical towns.On arrival, we check into the Arminel Hotel for a 3 night stay.The hotel has wonderful gardens and footpaths to explore.
